The Specialty Equipment Market Association, aka SEMA, is THE annual show to attend for those in the automotive industry.  It is the rally point for these attendees to see the new trends and products that are currently available as well as those that are on the horizon.  Besides being a very important networking event to meet new vendors and industry leaders, it is also a homecoming of sorts where we get to see our friends and associates who all make this journey to Vegas.
To say that the SEMA Show is big is an understatement.  It is a marathon to see everything that this show has to offer.  And according to my step counter, I indeed racked up the distance by tracking in excess of 30 miles for the week.  Not everyone has to travel that much during the SEMA Show, but when you are part of the media, you need to cover the show floor, both inside and out in order to see most of the show.  Of course there are areas that we were not able to cover due to time constraints, but we feel that we captured the vibe of the 2018 show in our coverage.
And to all of the car builders who donated their time, sweat and endless nights, thank you for bringing your vehicles to this year’s show.  Your effort and dedication shows what this industry represents with the endless possibilities available by using products that were on display this year.
