2022 Hot Import Nights Hawaii

Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall (Honolulu, HI)
April 16, 2022

The 2022 Hot Import Nights season opener started in the Aloha State of Hawaii.  It’s been quite a while since I covered an import car show due to the pandemic and all of these covid restrictions, so this event was much anticipated for me.

It was Easter weekend, so a lot of the decorations for the cars had that theme on them.  And many of the models in attendance sported very cute bunny ears as well.  There were a few events geared toward the younger crowd such as an Easter egg hunt and an inflatable bounce castle.  The RC drift track was also quite busy with many drivers and attendees watching the drift action.

Thanks to all of the attendees for bringing their rides early and getting them detailed way before the doors opened.  That made taking clean car shots so much easier without the large crowds that eventually filled the exhibition hall.  It was crowded at the show.  I think everyone just wanted to check out the show and chill with fellow car enthusiasts.

Also, a new Miss HIN Hawaii was chosen at this event and Bella (IG @perksofisabelle) took the title.
